A Variety Of Refrigerated Centrifuges To Purchase A Suitable Refrigerated Centrifuge From Their Own Needs

Nov 01, 2019

Refrigeration centrifuges require refrigeration through a temperature control system. The refrigeration temperature control system is generally used in the case of high centrifuge speeds and when required by the user.

When the rotational speed is high speed, the temperature of the fuselage is not easy to control due to friction between the rotor body and the air when the centrifuge is running at a high speed. The excessive temperature affects the service life of the internal components of the centrifuge. This is the difference between a refrigerated centrifuge and a conventional centrifuge. The refrigerated centrifuge has a refrigeration system that can control the temperature to protect the machine components. The ordinary centrifuge does not have a refrigeration system.

In addition, according to the user's experimental requirements, it must be equipped with a low temperature control system, such as separation of some organic active substances: enzymes, organic volatile substances, etc. need to be constant temperature or temperature difference does not exceed plus or minus 10 ° C. To ensure that the experimental conditions meet the needs of the experimental design, to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment.

The working principle of the refrigerated centrifuge is mainly divided into two parts, the centrifugal part and the frozen part. It mainly consists of drive motor, drive circuit, display, compressor unit, steel frame, electronic door lock, alloy rotor body and other components. Through the setting of the program, the number of centrifugal revolutions can be adjusted, the centrifugation time can be set, and the centrifugal temperature can control the three most basic elements.

Refrigerated centrifuges are also known as cryogenic centrifuges. There are many types of refrigerated centrifuges on the market. Common classifications include low-speed refrigerated centrifuges, high-speed refrigerated centrifuges, and ultra-speed analysis and preparation of dual-purpose refrigerated centrifuges.

Take the low-speed refrigerating centrifuge and the high-speed refrigerating centrifuge as an example, and talk about the difference between the two:

Low speed refrigerated centrifuge

The rotational speed generally does not exceed 10,000 rpm, which is the most commonly used in the laboratory for the extraction of biological macromolecules, precipitates, etc. from a large number of primary separations. The rotating head is mostly made of aluminum alloy, flat and angled. The centrifugal tube has various types of hard glass, polyethylene hard plastic and stainless steel tube. The centrifuge is equipped with a drive motor, timer, regulator (speed indication) and refrigeration system (temperature adjustable range -20-+40 °C), which can be changed according to the needs of centrifugal materials. .

High speed refrigerated centrifuge

The rotational speed can reach above 20,000 rpm. In addition to the performance and structure of the low-speed refrigerated centrifuge, the angle rotor used in the high-speed centrifuge is made of titanium alloy and aluminum alloy. The centrifuge tube is a polyethylene hard plastic product with a cover. Such centrifuges are often used to collect microorganisms, cell debris, cells, large organelles, sulfate precipitates, and immunoprecipitates.

The summary is the speed, which determines the difference in the rotor, so the material to be separated is different.

So if you want to buy a refrigerated centrifuge that suits you, you still need to do a lot of homework and understand the needs of your own separated substances in order to buy your own refrigerated centrifuge.
