How to find a suitable centrifuge in this category of centrifuges, not simply by understanding the instructions or asking a few centrifuge sellers, but also through their own research.
Learn from centrifuges today to learn about the different types of centrifuges.
Centrifuges, because of market demand, although in various fields of clinical medicine, biochemistry, immunology, blood stations, etc., the centrifuges are most often seen in the laboratory.
According to different classifications, it can be divided into the following centrifuges:
Benchtop centrifuges and vertical centrifuges (floor-standing centrifuges).
Benchtop centrifuges and vertical centrifuges are primarily used to separate solid particles from liquids in a suspension; or to separate two different density and immiscible liquids in an emulsion (eg, separating cream from milk) It can also be used to remove liquids from wet solids; special super-speed tubular separators can also separate gas mixtures of different densities; use different density or granularity of solid particles to settle in liquids with different speeds, and some settled bench-top centrifugation The machine can also classify solid particles by density or particle size.
In the centrifugal mode, it can be divided into a filtration centrifuge and a sedimentation centrifuge.
This type of centrifuge is a centrifugal separator that separates components in a suspension by centrifugal filtration or sedimentation. There are a number of holes in the wall of the filter centrifuge drum, and the inner surface of the drum covers the filter medium. The suspension added to the drum rotates together with the drum to generate a large centrifugal pressure. Under the pressure, the liquid in the suspension flows through the filter medium and the hole in the wall of the drum, and the solid is trapped on the surface of the filter medium, thereby realizing Separation of solids from liquids. The centrifugal force generated by the suspension in the drum is several hundred times that of gravity, which enhances the filtration process, speeds up the filtration, and obtains a filter residue having a lower moisture content. Suspensions of solid particles greater than 0.01 mm are typically filtered using a filter centrifuge. Most of these centrifuges are used in the dewatering of textiles, the sugar industry, the salt industry, and the dewatering of coal particles.
If centrifuged, the centrifuge can be divided into low speed centrifuges, high speed centrifuges, and ultra high speed centrifuges.
The detailed division speed is as follows: the dividing line of the centrifuge speed is 10000r/min, the speed of the centrifuge is ≥10000r/min, which is called a high-speed centrifuge; the speed of <10000r/min is called a low-speed centrifuge.
Of course, in addition to the above classification of centrifuges, there are also hundreds of centrifuges, such as the presence or absence of refrigeration, capacity, and even the use, so please carefully study your needs before purchasing a centrifuge. Communicate with the centrifuge manufacturer on demand, so that you can buy the centrifuge model that suits you.
