Overview:

Centrifuge
Our country Centrifuge There is still a considerable gap between current skill levels and the degree of internationalization. However, overall, a definite gap remains. Given the current state of centrifuge technology, we believe that the centrifuge industry will undergo major transformations over the next five years. These significant changes will not primarily stem from technological advancements but rather from integrations in areas such as market scale, marketing channels, and management systems. The long-term prospects for the entire centrifuge industry are exceptionally promising. Nevertheless, survival in this highly competitive environment hinges on the industry’s ability to recognize its own shortcomings, strengthen the cultivation of skilled professionals relevant to the industry, and continuously promote technological innovation. Only by doing so can the centrifuge industry ensure its sustained and healthy growth.
During the single-machine trial run of the centrifuge, the oil tank was filled with 68 hydraulic oil. At that time, although some foam appeared due to the short running duration, no oil leakage occurred. After feeding material and starting up the machine, the foam in the oil tank increased significantly, and oil began leaking externally. Upon cleaning the oil tank, we discovered that a small amount of sodium nitrate had entered the tank. To address this issue, we implemented three measures: First, we replaced the lubricating oil with higher-quality 46-grade turbine oil; second, we installed protective barriers around the oil tank to prevent the solution from entering it; and third, we added an anti-foaming agent to the lubricating oil. The feed plate of the centrifuge performs reciprocating motion inside the drum, and a certain gap must be maintained between the rim of the feed plate wheel and the drum. Typically, this gap should be between 0.16 and 0.36 mm. The feeding hopper ensures that the incoming slurry is evenly distributed throughout the drum. If the size of the adjusting ring is improperly selected, so that the thickness of the filter residue on the drum does not reach the lubricating ring of the feed plate, the uneven distribution of the filter residue will cause vibration in the centrifuge. This unit was supplied by the manufacturer. Centrifuge This is a general-purpose machine. Based on the materials we have actually separated and under the condition that the drum rotates at 800 r/min, we recommend replacing the randomly supplied adjusting ring with an outer diameter of 80 mm with an adjusting ring having an outer diameter of 720 mm.
The structural design is rational, simple, and easy to operate and maintain. It effectively eliminates sanitary dead spots, with smoothly transitioned structural components and surfaces that have undergone polishing treatment. All external structural parts, fasteners, and the rotating drum are made of stainless steel. The housing features a flip-top design, allowing for thorough cleaning of the space between the centrifuge housing and the rotating drum. The flip-top housing is equipped with an inlet pipe, a washing pipe, an observation mirror, and an illumination port. An in-line cleaning system is included, enabling the cleaning of internal unseen areas such as the inner walls of the centrifuge housing, the inner and outer surfaces of the rotating drum, and the surface of the liquid collection tank, thereby ensuring compliance with GMP standards and meeting cleanliness requirements. The machine boasts strong versatility and a wide range of applications. It can be used not only for separating suspensions where the solid phase consists of particulate matter but also for separating fibrous materials. It can be started using a frequency converter, providing smooth startup and adjustable separation factors. The machine features a non-contact energy-regenerative braking system, a static-electricity-resistant belt drive, and a hermetically sealed body structure with sealing elements made of silicone rubber or fluororubber. This design meets closed-system and explosion-proof requirements, making it suitable for use in environments involving toxic, flammable, and explosive substances. A nitrogen protection system is also included, ensuring that the centrifuge’s internal cavity remains isolated from the external air.
Centrifuges are high-speed machines and essential tools for daily laboratory experiments; therefore, their quality is of utmost importance. Choosing a reliable brand with a good reputation not only makes operation more convenient but also reduces the losses and hassles caused by future malfunctions. For example, the centrifuge’s outer casing should feature a robust, multi-layered safety steel shell to effectively prevent potential accidents. However, many people still fail to recognize this inherent danger and continue using casings made of non-steel materials or other substances that cannot meet safety requirements in order to cut costs. Thus, we should pay close attention to this when making our purchase. These seemingly invisible details are actually crucial guarantees of safety—and price and quality are directly proportional. Other safety features, such as automatic rotor identification (which prevents setting centrifugal speeds beyond safe limits) and lid-locking mechanisms (where the centrifuge can only start after the lid is securely locked and can only be opened once it has come to a complete stop), are all vital safeguards for protecting the safety of laboratory personnel. Some... Centrifuge It can also monitor imbalances—even those caused by tube breakage or sample spillage—throughout the entire centrifugation process, as well as whether the rotor cover is properly closed.
