Overview:
The operating status of domestically produced centrifuges relies on机组; these domestic centrifuges do not have an intermediate hopper and instead use labyrinth seals and soft seals to achieve solid-liquid phase sealing.
When the imported centrifuge is operating, the unit has relatively strict requirements for airflow direction; otherwise, it will be difficult to bring the equipment to its ideal operating condition.
(1) The side connection for the discharge outlet of the mother liquor is equipped with a vent pipe, which serves as a natural vent.
(2) As a forced air intake port, this centrifuge is designed with an intermediate chamber that uses the volume of incoming air to seal off the airflow carrying solid and liquid phases, thereby achieving a sealing effect. During operation, the centrifuge generates negative pressure within the chamber due to centrifugal force, ensuring that the amount of air drawn in equals the amount expelled; consequently, both solid and liquid phases in the centrifuge experience airflow discharge.
(3) As a forced exhaust vent, if this airflow is not properly discharged, it can cause air blockage in the discharge hopper of the centrifuge, increasing the operating current and vibration. In severe cases, this can easily lead to bridging, resulting in accidents (the dewatered filter cake has a certain moisture content and exhibits very poor flowability). When designing for forced exhaust ventilation, it’s essential to allow for a sufficient margin in the calculated exhaust volume, as external gases may enter the intermediate hopper of the inlet centrifuge.
The operational status of domestically produced centrifuges depends on the unit configuration; these domestic centrifuges do not have an intermediate hopper and instead use labyrinth seals and soft seals to achieve solid-liquid phase sealing.
(1) This is a natural exhaust vent. The equipment manufacturer provides a built-in steam-water separator tank, and the exhaust requirements can be met simply by connecting piping to the flange at the top of the separator tank.
(2) As a forced exhaust port, although domestically produced centrifuges do not involve the introduction of external gases, to ensure they can achieve their ideal operating conditions, forced ventilation should be considered.
