Operating Precautions for Low-Speed High-Capacity Centrifuges

Release time:

2012-02-08

Overview:

The centrifuge begins to decelerate, and its rotational speed drops to zero within the pre-set deceleration time. Press the stop button on the control panel, and the digital display will show "dedT." A few seconds later, a flashing rotational speed value will appear, indicating that the machine is now ready for the next operation.

I. Operating Procedure for High-Capacity Centrifuges:

1. Plug in the power supply and wait for the standby indicator light to illuminate: Turn on the power switch; the flashing digits displayed on the digital tube of the speed and timing system represent the factory-set operating speed of the machine.

2. Set the machine’s operating parameters, such as working temperature, running time, and operating speed. Once the start button on the control panel is pressed, the centrifuge begins to run. During the preset acceleration period, its rotational speed increases to the pre-set value. After the preset running time (excluding the deceleration period), the centrifuge starts to decelerate, and its rotational speed drops to zero within the preset deceleration period. Press the stop button on the control panel; the digital display will show “dedT,” and after a few seconds, it will switch to flashing the current rotational speed reading. At this point, the machine is ready for the next operation.

II. Precautions for Operating High-Capacity Centrifuges:

1. Except for the rotation speed and running time, do not arbitrarily change the machine’s operating parameters to avoid affecting its performance. The set rotation speed must not exceed the maximum allowable speed to ensure safe operation of the machine. If, during operation, you encounter “0.00” or any other abnormal reading and the machine fails to start, immediately turn off the power and unplug the machine. Wait 10 seconds before restarting it. Once the set rotation speed is displayed, press the “Run” button to resume normal operation. Never open the lid or door while the machine is running or when the rotor has not yet come to a complete stop. The centrifuge must be loaded with samples in equal amounts; never allow the rotor to operate under unbalanced conditions. It is best not to run the centrifuge for more than 60 minutes at a time. The centrifuge must be reliably grounded; when not in use, always unplug the power cord.
