Overview:

In recent years, our country... Centrifuge The market is showing a continuously growing trend, with wide-ranging application areas and tremendous growth potential. Industry experts predict that this field holds enormous development potential.
As the first domestic enterprise to obtain FDA certification for centrifuges, Shanghai Luxiangyi Centrifuge Instrument Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Luxiangyi”) has been specializing in the manufacture of centrifuges for over four decades and is a leader in this industry.

It is understood that, Shanghai Luxiangyi has successively designed and manufactured GL-25M, the highest-speed high-speed refrigerated centrifuge currently available in China. It also produced China’s first continuous-flow rotor made of 316L stainless steel. Building on the 2400ml square rotor, a super-large-capacity refrigerated centrifuge featuring an easy-to-use 2000ml round rotor was developed, complete with 316L stainless steel centrifuge cups, thus maximizing the capacity of round rotors and providing pharmaceutical companies certified under GMP standards with the highest-quality supporting equipment. Furthermore, a super-core centrifuge was designed, achieving a breakthrough of 12,000 rpm for horizontal rotors. A specialized centrifuge for determining soil PF curves was also developed, providing a scientific basis for petroleum exploration and agricultural science research.
Not long ago, Mr. Li, the manager of Shanghai Luxiangyi, together with Professor Lu Hongbin from the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Molecular Engineering at Fudan University in Shanghai—a renowned domestic university—discussed the separation and extraction of graphene as well as its potential future applications.
Recently, the company, in collaboration with Professor Guo from the School of Materials at Beijing University of Science and Technology, has jointly developed a centrifuge with a single-cup capacity of 2,500 ml that achieves safe separation even under high temperatures of 1,500 degrees Celsius. As far as we know, conventional centrifuges typically separate and extract solid-liquid mixtures at room or low temperatures. However, Beijing University of Science and Technology proposed conducting the extraction process via centrifugation at an extremely high temperature of 1,500 degrees Celsius. At such a high temperature, not only would centrifugation be challenging—simply loading the materials into the machine would already be extremely difficult. Moreover, precise weighing and balancing on a scale would also be required.
Despite numerous challenges, thanks to the joint efforts of Senior Engineer Lu Xiangyi and Li Wei in Shanghai, as well as Professor Guo from Beijing University of Science and Technology, the problem of high-temperature operations was overcome through the use of thermal insulation materials. With Engineer Li’s dedicated efforts, China’s first centrifuge—featuring a single-cup capacity of 2,500 ml and capable of safely separating materials even under high temperatures of 1,500 degrees Celsius—has successfully completed its trial run and acceptance inspection. This reform has received recognition in the field of materials science and provides a scientific basis for future discussions on centrifugal forces at high temperatures.
